Our Name Is Our Philosophy
The name Epps Jones Media carries the history of two Georgia legends who never met but share the same spirit: the self-made drive to build something that lasts. In Athens, Ben Epps was a bicycle mechanic who taught himself to fly, building Georgia's first airplane in 1909 and opening the state's first airport a decade later — his name now marks the road and the runway that define the city. In Augusta, Bobby Jones walked away from a Grand Slam golf career to design a course from an old plant nursery, turning it into the most storied piece of ground in the sport. One reached for the sky, the other for the green — both left their names permanently written into their hometowns.
